Promedia Creative created an educational video for patients visiting the New Albany Surgical Hospital (now part of Mount Carmel Health Systems). The video replaced poorly attended informational meetings held for incoming patients, saving time for the nursing staff and the patients themselves. The hospital needed a DVD that would walk patients through all the areas of the hospital they would be visiting, as well as demonstrations of the exercises following the surgery, and how to prepare their home for their return.
The project was a huge success with staff and patients. Nurses no longer had to spend extra time running information classes that patients rarely attended, and patients now had all the information they needed to view at their convenience.
